 It's February once again! Flowers, chocolates, teddy bears and rings are very in demand in the city, I know.


 All people are talking about love, except those who are cynical about love, and most of men and even women are preparing gifts to their love ones. Now, we are talking about love,but the question is, am I in love or just infatuated?..hmm..


  As I was walking along the street where I always take a ride going to OWWA, I met a friend asking me,.."How are you? are you  married now?.." I paused for a moment and began to answer her questions but the motorcycle  driver was tooting his horn many times already that  I couldn't have the chance to answer her back. Upon riding, I remember the time during my high school life.The word " FLAMES". I'm sure all girls or, most of all girls, to be safer, used this game in matching their connection or relationship with that certain admired person. Thinking that the results are the real destiny. How about horoscope? yeah, we are very updated with the chronicle between the lines of the connected stars. But, how we are going to know our feelings whether we are in love or just infatuated  with out depending on FLAMES or horoscopes?

Lets define Love vs. Infatuation. It can be sometimes difficult to tell the difference between infatuation and love. According to Meriam Webster Dictionary, Infatuation is a noun and infatuate is to transitive verb which means to inspire with a foolish or extravagant love or admiration. Infatuation is something we feel outside the corridors of our body. The electrifying sense that struck deeply with in our minds. The fireworks that puff after we see the person we admired most.

What is Love?

Webster defines love as " a strong affection for attachment or devotion to a person or persons. Love is the quiet understanding and mature acceptance of imperfection. It is real. It gives you strength and grows beyond you - to bolster your beloved. You are warmed by their presence, even when they are away.But,whatever definition you may have, love is indeed a many splendored thing. Love is compared to a prism that has a number of sides through which a spectrum of beautiful colors is refracted.
